CLASSES EXPLAINED
Under 3's
This class is for children from approximately 18 months to 3 years of age. As long as they can run and follow some sort of instruction then they are ready for the class.
We get the parents/carers involved in all the games. This helps keep the kids engaged.
We start with a little warm up track before going on to the running/chasing games. Kids
love this as you chase them round the hall, then they get to chase you too.
We introduce cones which they get to knock/kick over before doing some throwing and catching
with small beanbags.
We always finish with “the traffic light game” or “nee naw game” as some kids call it.
This class helps with confidence, movement, hand-eye co-ordination, colours and lots more.
The emphasis, as with every class, is on having some fun.
Preschool
No two weeks
are the same with this class.
We start
with the warm up track, then go on to have races involving running,
jumping, hopping etc.
After this
we have several different games we can play. Most of which involve the kids
doing a fair bit of running about but don’t worry, we also have some fun
throwing games that can slow things down if they’re getting too tired.
We sometimes
get the parents/carers involved in the odd game, which the kids absolutely love
(parents/carers enjoy it too).
To finish
off we have the “traffic light game.” A favourite with all children.
When playing
any game, we encourage all kids to “try their best,” but above all else, “have
some fun.”
We encourage parents/carers to stay for this class but understand if this is not always possible.
P1-P3 & P4-P7
These classes are for kids that attend primary school. Both classes are similar.
We often
start with warm up exercises, followed by individual races. We will often split
the kids into teams and have some fun team games and races.
As with the
preschool class, no two weeks are the same. We try to vary the games as much as
possible.
The great
thing about these classes is that the kids do a lot of running about, burning
off energy, but don’t realise it because they are having so much fun.
We finish
off each class with the “traffic light game.”
Once again
we encourage the kids to “try their best,” but above all else, “have some fun.”
Parents/carers are more than welcome to stay if they want. Or they can pick the kids up after the class.
ASN/Disability (5-14 yrs)
These classes are a great way to have some fun with your kids.
Parents/carers stay and get involved in nearly all the games.
We start off with the warm up track which involves hopping, jumping etc.
We follow this with some races. Kids race against the parents/carers.
During the races we get the kids going sideways, backwards, etc. We also do the
“tickle race,” this is where parents/carers will try to catch the kids, if they
do they tickle them (kids love this). We then change it round so that the kids
are chasing the parents/carers and have to tickle them if they catch them.
We play lots of different games involving balls, cones, beanbags, hoops,
rackets, etc.
We try to concentrate on what the kids can do rather than what they can’t
do, but at the same time, encourage them to try new things.
There is no pressure put on any child to join in all the games. We try to keep it as relaxed as possible.
As with all our classes, the emphasis is on getting the kids active, but above all else, having some fun.

Birthday Parties

You always want to make every childhood celebration significant and memorable for both your little one and your guests, but how? Look no further, as 1st Class Kids Activity Club parties are the perfect way of ensuring your child has an amazing experience on that special day! Working closely with you, we will create the perfect package for your child. We can even adopt your party theme and create imaginative games based on your child's favourite things. Whether your child wants to be a swashbuckling pirate, a shimmering mermaid, a powerful superhero, or a superstar footballer, we'll create some fun games to create the magic.
PARTY INFORMATION
* You book the venue you desire for the date that suits you.
* Then get in touch with us and we will supply the coach.
* We work to your requirements, eg session theme, prizes.
* We are normally booked for 60 minutes but longer sessions can be requested.
* Coaches will supply equipment.
* Price starts at £35 for the first 10 children. £2 per child thereafter.
